Hi, I'm Eve.
I didn't become a holistic nutritionist because I had everything figured out. I became one because I spent years trying to understand my own body.
My body was trying to talk to me long before I learned how to listen.
As far back as childhood, I lived with severe digestive issues — the kind no one really explained, the kind you just learn to carry, along with feelings of anxiety, restlessness, and being “different” in my body and mind. Looking back, I see this as my body and nervous system signaling that something needed attention.
In high school, I was told something was wrong with me.
Before anyone explored the deeper reasons behind my focus or mood, I was prescribed ADHD medication, and later an SSRI, in an effort to help me function during a time I deeply believed I was “not okay.”
What followed were years of trying to keep up and appear “normal.” Coming off medication meant navigating difficult withdrawal. I leaned on caffeine and stimulants to push through school and life, eventually running my nervous system in constant overdrive until it began to push back — through anxiety, overstimulation, and chronic stress responses I couldn't ignore. That wouldn't switch off.
Eventually, I reached a point where I had to slow down and truly reassess everything. I was desperate to understand what was happening in my body.
I immersed myself in nutrition, digestion, hormones, and the connection between the nervous system and overall well-being. I came to understand that I wasn’t broken—I had simply lost connection with my body’s signals and rhythms.
The greatest lesson I learned was this:
There was never anything wrong with me.
I simply needed to learn how to listen to my body instead of fighting against it.
This is the heart of why I do this work. EatSmarter by Eve grew out of the connection between what we eat and how we think, feel, and regulate — the food-brain relationship that runs through my entire story. My story is mine, not a prescription for anyone else. What I offer isn't a cure or a verdict on what's wrong with you. It's an education in how your own system works, so you can make informed choices and lead your own health.
My role is to help you better understand your body, feel empowered in your choices, and reconnect with your natural rhythm. I believe healing begins when we slow down, listen inward, and build a relationship with our bodies rooted in awareness, not pressure.
If my story resonates with you, I’m honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
